Guideline for Speakers

Please read all the information below to ensure that your presentation go smoothly. If you have any further questions, please contact the APVBO Office at apvbocontact@yahoo.com.

• To ensure that your presentation go smoothly, we recommend that you upload your presentation before May 10, 2019. Please bring your presentation in a USB memory stick to the Speaker Service Center (2F, Science Building, ZOC), where technicians will assist you for uploading and testing. Make sure to label your USB memory stick with your name and the session in which you will present.

• If you choose to use your own computer for presentation, we strongly recommend that you bring your adaptor and computer and test them at the Speaker Service Center (2F, Science Building, ZOC) to be sure that everything is fine at least three hours prior to your talk.

• Presentation files should be in Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx).

• Any changes of your presentation slides must be done at least three hours prior to your scheduled session by visiting the Speaker Service Center (2F, Science Building, ZOC).

• Please make sure to scan USB memory stick for any virus infection before uploading your presentation files.

• To facilitate easy movement between the sessions, the length of your talk should not exceed the allocated time.

• If you are unable to make it or need to send a replacement speaker, please inform the APVBO Office at apvbocontact@yahoo.com as soon as you can. The replacement speaker must be approved by the Program Chair and conference management office.

• Backup: Please have a backup copy of your presentation to be on the safe side.
